I was at the other part of the world. Far away from the plan to celebrate new year at this city, possibly with you. But, I had to go. And we were separated by deep deep oceans-miles miles away.
I had the new year in my mom’s, that was even better. And you had what you called a nostalgic home party with your friends from the same cohort. That day eight hours before AM at your zone, you texted me a very simple new year greetings. I bet, the sun was still there at your place, shining. Anyways.. to you eight hours later, I said “Bonne Année!”.
